Resin chip repair
A stone chip repaired while you wait. Have a coffee and drive away with glass that will not crack further.
A stone thrown up by a truck causes damage in a second that can cost you the whole windscreen. The difference between a thirty-euro repair and a several-hundred-euro replacement is usually just how fast you get here.
We dry the damage and vacuum out air and moisture. Resin with a refractive index close to glass is then injected under pressure and cured under a UV lamp. The surface is levelled with a blade and polished, so the wiper glides over it.
Once cured, the repaired spot stops moving — the glass regains its original strength. A faint mark stays visible; we say honestly that a repair does not erase the damage, it stops it.
We do not repair blindly. If the damage sits in the driver's direct field of view, is larger than a two-euro coin or reaches the inner layer, we advise against it and tell you why.
