A detached rear-view mirror is bonded with a dedicated two-part adhesive back to its original position — not roughly nearby, because on cars with a rain sensor millimetres matter.
Glass hazed by old wipers or car washes can be polished. It is no miracle cure for deep scratches, but the fine grooves that dazzle you against low sun come out almost completely.
Hydrophobic coating is one of the few things you notice immediately. Above 60 km/h water rolls off by itself. It lasts about six months.
