Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we need it and how long we keep it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

1. Who is the controller

AUTOSKLO VT, s.r.o., Sídlisko 1. mája 62/29, 093 01 Vranov nad Topľou, Company ID 44915446, Tax ID 2022902233. Contact: autosklovt@gmail.com, {{company.phones[0].number}}.

2. What data we process

  • Contact form: name, e-mail, phone number, vehicle details and the text of your message.
  • If you add them yourself: the VIN, your insurer and the claim number. We never ask for them in the form, but they help us answer you precisely.
  • Call-back request: name and phone number.
  • Newsletter: e-mail address and preferred language.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser identification and the time a form was submitted. We use them solely to protect the forms against automated abuse.

3. Why we process it

Enquiries and call-back requests are processed on the basis of steps taken prior to entering into a contract and for the performance of that contract. The newsletter runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with one click. Protection of the forms against bots is our legitimate interest in keeping the service usable.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted after 12 months. Data about work we carried out is kept for as long as accounting rules and the warranty require, which for invoicing data means ten years. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Who else sees the data

Insurers, but only when you ask us to settle a claim on your behalf, and only to the extent that claim requires. Our accounting provider, for invoicing. Nobody else. We do not sell or rent data and we do not send it outside the European Union.

6. Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to us and we will handle it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
